Luke Combs has been announced as the leading artiste with five nominations at the upcoming Country Music Association(CMA).

The ‘Beautiful Crazy’ hitmaker has been nominated in the categories for ‘Entertainer of the Year’, ‘Male Vocalist of the Year’, ‘Album of the Year’ with his ‘What You See Is What You Get’ studio album, ‘Single of The Year’ and ‘Song of the Year’ twice.

The 2 songs Luke Combs has been nominated for are; ‘Even Though I’m Leaving’ written by Luke Combs, Wyatt B. Durrette III, Ray Fulcher, and ‘I Hope You’re Happy Now’ written by Luke Combs, Randy Montana, Carly Pearce, and Jonathan Singleton.

Jimmie Allen, Ingrid Andress, Gabby Barrett, Carly Pearce, and Morgan Wallen are CMA’s nominees in the ‘New Artist’ category.

’10, 000 Hours’ by Dan + Shay together with Justin Bieber, ‘Bluebird’ by Miranda Lambert, ‘Homemade’ by Jake Owen, ‘I Hope You’re Happy Now’ by Carly Pearce and Lee Brice, ‘Second One To Know’ by Chris Stapleton are up for the ‘Video of the Year’ categories.

In the year that paused for many of us, people turned to country music. Thank you to my peers for these nominations.

Maren Moris who has been nominated in four different categories at the CMA Awards said in part over her nominations.
